Poet, mother, divorcee, and women’s health advocate, Keisha was born in 1978 into a tumultuous family dynamic. A graduate of Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO she rediscovered her passion for writing in 2010, and has often proclaimed that poetry ‘saved my life’. Her first book “Life: Love and Lust; Him, Me, You” released in December of 2015 was the first in a series exploring relationships and the female dynamic. Affectionately referred to by her friends as Dr. Keisha for her willingness to share knowledge out of a desire to help others educate and care for themselves. An intricate mix of beauty, intelligence, sensitivity, and tenacity which all makes its way into every word she places on the page.
